Blog Tour - My God Hath Been My Strength

About the book: Nephi, that great hero of the Book of Mormon is often viewed as a pinnacle of devotion: steadfastly faithful, profoundly spiritual, and unwaveringly obedient. But the beautiful passage of scripture often referred to as Nephi's Psalm reveals that, like all of us, Nephi faced his own inner struggles in this mortal existence. His heartfelt introspection demonstrates that amid the trials of life, discouragement can burden us all—but it can also be overcome.

In My God Hath Been My Support, author David T. Morgan looks to the words of Nephi's Psalm to offer an inspiring message of hope and a loving call to action. Featuring tools and ideas on how to overcome adversity, increase feelings of self-worth, and endure the ups and downs of mortality, this scripture-based roadmap to a more fulfilling life is a joyous invitation to learn from Nephi how to transform sorrow into joy.

My review: I wanted to read this book mainly because each and every one of us have challenges arise in our lives and we all need to know how to best deal with them and move on. With our faith in tact. Sometimes that's a bit of a challenge.

I was happy with what I found in this book. I found a book that gives great tips from the scriptures, conference talks and the authors life on how to get through life when it's hard. I liked the way the author writes this one. He writes in a way that is easy to read and you don't feel preached at as you're reading it.

The author did a great job with this book. If you're looking for a way to get through the hard stuff you're going through, I recommend reading this one!

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
