Lindsey is not afraid to be herself. In fact, it’s her confidence and individuality that have propelled her into the spotlight. But the road hasn’t been easy. After being rejected by talent scouts, music reps, and eventually national television, Lindsey forged her own path, step by step. The Ready Resource for Relief Society - Teachings of the Presidents of The Church: Gordon B Hinkley

About the book: Whether you’re a new teacher or a seasoned veteran, preparing Relief Society lessons just got easier. For each lesson in the manual, this ready resource includes an accompanying chapter summary, pertinent quotes, relevant hymns, object lessons, and more. Now you can focus more on personalizing your lessons for the sisters in your ward!

My review: This is a great resource if you're teaching Relief Society in your ward!

I liked the way that this is set up. Each chapter corresponds to a chapter in the Gordon B Hinkley Teachings of the Presidents of the Church book that we're studying this year. Each chapter includes songs that you could use with them, a quick summary of the chapter, quotes you can use with the chapter, art that you can use, and a few object lessons as well. There's even a place for you to write any notes or thoughts you have as you're reading the lesson.

I was sent an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

He agrees to an undercover boss stunt to help his father. The beautiful manager makes him laugh and forget his troubles until she tries to solve his commitment issues like every woman has since his mother’s murder.

Trin Dean has no intention of becoming besotted with Zander like every other woman who watched him on television. But when he begins helping out at her bed and breakfast, she discovers the true Zander, who has overcome losing his mother and an alcohol addiction. She can’t risk falling for him and jeopardize her job and her home.

My review: This is a cute novella, I loved the escape of reading it and I loved that I was able to read the whole thing in an afternoon.

I liked Zander in this one. He had some demons and some addictions, but he was a seriously nice guy. I loved the way that he treated Trin and her friend…

How I Met Your Brother

About this book: Back in college, Marco Winslow never thought of Belle as anything more than a friend. If she crossed his mind on his wedding day, it was probably only to wonder why she hadn’t shown up to be a bridesmaid. After all, his new wife had been her roommate.

Six years have passed since then, and Belle just found out that Marco is divorced and vacationing with his parents in a Cancun resort. She’s not about to let the right man get away twice. She heads to the resort where she plans to casually bump into Marco and ignite some flames.

But Belle hadn’t planned on one thing: Flynn Winslow, Marco’s handsome, charming, and determined older brother. Flynn thinks Marco and his ex-wife can make amends and he’s not about to let Belle stand in the way.

Part Sabrina, part While You Were Sleeping, romantic comedy readers will eat this book up!

Blog Tour - The Decision That Changed My Life

About the book: Whether making life-changing choices or considering seemingly small day-to-day decisions, to choose oftentimes means to take a step into the unknown.

In The Decision That Changed My Life, author Ganel-Lyn Condie explores some of the life-altering choices made by sixteen notable and everyday Latter-day Saints and the chain of events that followed those decisions that affected other people's lives. From the broad impact of Janice Kapp Perry's course-changing decision to pursue music to the significance of Chris Carter's converting to the gospel as a young boy, each story demonstrates the potential ripple effects of our decisions. While following the promptings of the Spirit without a full understanding of the outcome requires great faith, sometimes making that one decision has the power to change our lives—and the world.

My review: This book is so great! I loved the way that it is written. There is a chapter about a person and the thing that really changed the …

Out Lawyered

About the book: Saxon Cartwright is a small-town lawyer driven by a deeply personal need to see justice served. Years ago, the incompetence of a prosecuting attorney allowed his sister's murderer to walk free. Now, Saxon is faced with the task of prosecuting a case eerily reminiscent of that long-ago trial, and he's determined to make the murderer pay. But there's one person standing in his way: Malcom Glazebrook, a ruthless and experienced defense lawyer whose wealthy clients are paying him handsomely to do whatever it takes to keep their son out of prison.

The case should be open and shut, but a series of shocking murders have claimed the lives of both a juror and a key witness for the prosecution. Now, beautiful elementary school teacher Wyanne Grice—an unwitting observer of the juror's murder—is Saxon's only hope. As they work together to uncover the truth, Saxon and Wyanne are undeniably drawn to one another. But when threats to Wyanne's life escalate, it s…

About the book: England, 1857

The British aristocracy is an inflexible judge. And for Amala, a lovely young Indian woman, that judgment is most keenly felt. The family is part of the charmed circle of the upper class, but Amala's place in society is tenuous. As an Indian woman, her life is marked by a sense of otherness and voices of prejudice. So when she embarks upon a sweet acquaintance with Henry Breckenridge, a white Englishman, Amala is both elated and terrified. She knows first-hand the opposition that an interracial couple would face, and courtship with Henry could destroy his standing in society.

Determined to spare the reputations of both Henry and her sister Katarina, Amala flees England with the hope that an extended trip will allow her time to heal her broken heart. But she n…
