Favorite Friday - Six Sisters Meal Plans

If you were to ask me what the worst part is about cooking for my family, I'd have to tell you that it's deciding what we're going to eat for dinner. It seems like there's always someone that doesn't like what ever it is that I'm making. There are plenty of complaints, yet no one is willing to help figure out what to have. Here's the best solution I've found yet, let someone else make the meal plan and the shopping list, and you just put the meal together!
Tortellini bake I made for my family this week
with garlic bread. Yummy!

I've been able to try out the Six Sisters Menu plan for the last few weeks and I'm loving it! To start with you simply visit their website. You need to pick from one of the plans they offer, there are family meal plans, gluten free plans, healthy plans and small family plans. Each of the plans costs about $8 to $10 a month or $60 for a whole year. And you can even see a sample menu plan.

Once you've picked a plan, you simply sign up and then the fun begins! You will get an e-mail right away that gives you a week's worth of meals to start using before your first week actually starts. It comes with 6 entree recipes and side suggestions, there are also 2 side recipes with each and 2 dessert recipes. I like that they include a variety of different types of food, you'll get Mexican, Italian, Chinese, American and fish.

Your e-mail includes all the recipes you need to make everything for the week. And, one of my favorite parts is that it also includes a shopping list for the week. Simply print it out, or download it to your phone and you're ready to go to the store with really no thought on your part.

I've been enjoying eating different foods, it seems like I tend to get into a rut and make the same things over and over. Not so with this menu plan idea. I like that my family is eating yummy, fairly healthy meals and that I'm not hearing as many complaints about what I've fixed for dinner. Try it out for yourself!

I was given a year menu plan in exchange for an honest review.
