Worth the Wrestle Audiobook!

I know I've already posted this review, but I was so excited to let you know that this book has now been added to Deseret Bookshelf Plus as an audio book. That means that if you have Bookshelf Plus, you can listen to Sheri Dew read this book herself, for FREE! And you can still try Deseret Bookshelf Plus for FREE for 30 days! What a great deal and so much fun!

About the book: Why can’t I seem to conquer weaknesses that plague me?” “How do I know if I’m receiving revelation?” “Will the Lord forgive me after what I’ve done?” “Why can’t we seem to get ahead financially even though we faithfully pay our tithing?” “What if the Church’s position on gay marriage bothers me?”

Those are just a handful of the countless questions Sheri Dew has heard people ask over the years. “May I answer these questions,” she writes, “and any questions you may have, by posing a different question: Are you willing to engage in the wrestle? In an ongoing spiritual wrestle?”

In Worth the Wrestle, Sheri examines the process of asking good questions—whether those questions be doctrinal, procedural, historical, or intensely personal—and learning how to get answers. She demonstrates how to live by faith while seeking greater light and knowledge. And she testifies of principles that are worth wrestling for and of understanding that can be gained in no other way.

My review: Wow, I really loved this non-fiction book! The author, Sheri Dew, really has a way with words. I found so many inspirational and helpful quotes.

I love the way this author explains things in a way that's easy for me and probably everyone else to understand. I love that she includes tons of personal experiences, both of her own and also of those that she knows. I love personal experiences of others, because it shows that there's hope for me as well.

I also loved that this book has beautiful illustrations. You can look at the cover, and that will give you an idea of the kind of illustrations included. They are so much fun and they compliment the book very well.

I loved this non-fiction book, make sure to grab your own copy!

I was sent a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
