Favorite Friday - The Prayer

For today's Favorite Friday post, I'm going to show you a YouTube video that I really enjoyed watching. I first heard Celtic Women's version of this song and it became an instant favorite for me. I really enjoy this version with Jenny Oaks Baker and Lexi Walker. We're big Jenny Oaks Baker fans at our house, her talent is astounding. Check it out below!

Here's a little about the artists in the video.

America’s violinist, Jenny Oaks Baker, has teamed up with America’s sweetheart, Lexi Walker, in this video of “The Prayer”, a song made popular as a duet between Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli.

Jenny Oaks Baker is known as America’s violinist. A Grammy nominated musician, Jenny began her playing career at the age of four. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, and her master’s degree at the Juilliard School in New York City. She has performed with the Utah Symphony, the Concerto Soloists Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Lexi Walker is a 15-year-old vocalist from Utah. At the age of 11, Lexi joined Alex Boye in his remake of “Let it Go” from the animated movie Frozen. She is a member of the One Voice Children’s Choir, which consists of 120 children from around Salt Lake City.
