Pretending to fit in with the town’s elite is harder than she thought, and despite her best efforts, she’s falling for Garrett. My review: This is such a fun set! I love the way that the town of Echo Ridge seems to jump off the pages with all of it's inhabitants. I really loved the whole movie theme with this one. The authors did an amazing job of picking movies that everyone has seen and loved, making the whole thing even more amazing!

Let's talk just a little bit about each of the novellas that make up this set.

First up, My Fair Lacey by Janette Rallison. Oh my goodness, I loved this one! I loved Lacey. She's a young woman trying to do her best to achieve her dreams. She really wants to have her own restaurant. She's found one she can buy, but no one is willing to lend her the money for it. Enter Garrett Halifax, he's her roommate's brother and he's sure that he can help Lacey get the loan she needs. He simply needs to get her to dress better, and talk better. I loved the way that Garrett goes about helping her in this one. And I really loved the things that Lacey was thinking about him as he helps her. She starts off seriously annoyed at him all the time. But I loved the way he grew on her. And I really loved how he stood up for her when he didn't have to. Such a great way to start the set!

Next is You've Got Email by Heather Tullis. I really loved Maria in this one. I loved her sense of duty and honor, she's working so hard at two jobs to keep herself and her two sons afloat all while also paying back her ex-husband's gambling debts. Holy cow! There's no way I'd pay off anyone's gambling debts, but I can see why she felt she had to to protect herself and her sons. I thought it was so fun that she's emailing back and forth with a man she's never met, and of course, it ends up being someone she already knows. I loved Bret. I loved the way he tried to watch out for and help Maria out, especially after he found out that his online friend was Maria. This one is really cute too!

Then there's The Princess Bride of Riodan by Rachelle J Christensen. This one was so fun too! I loved Elise in this one. She is also a hard worker, she's trying to make it so that her grandma doesn't lose the house she lives in just because they can't afford to pay the property tax. So, as a second job, she's helping to redecorate the movie theater room in the bed and breakfast. This involves taking down the horrible wallpaper and that's when she meets a mysterious man, who turns out to be a prince. I love the way that Elise is conflicted in this one. She's not sure if she really wants to be princess of Riodan, everyone knows their family and she knows she'd spend the rest of her life in the limelight. She just needs to listen to her heart. This one might have been my favorite of the bunch!

Next is Cami Checketts' My Best Man's Wedding. I loved this one as well! I love Jessica and Gentry, we've seen them in other Echo Ridge books and I love that we get to see their story play out her. Jessica has been half planning to marry her dear friend Josh when they turn 30. But now Josh is getting married and Jessica has no idea what to do...except break up the wedding. That's where Gentry comes in. He offers to help Jessica by playing the role of her fiance and make Josh see that he really wants to marry Jessica. But we all know by now that that's never really what happens. This is such a cute story!

And last, but not least is Lucy McConnell's While You Were Skiing. This one is really amazing. I love the movie While You Were Sleeping, and I thought the author did an amazing job recreating this one with Echo Ridge in mind. Mia has been working as a lift operator at the Ruby Mountain Resort, it's her last day and her crush Ryder gets knocked off the ski lift by a couple of teenagers messing around. When the paramedics come to pick him up to take him to the hospital, he tells them that he and Mia are engaged and then promptly goes unconscious. I love that even though Mia is uncertain what to do about the situation, she works hard to take care of Ryder and make it look as though they really are engaged. This gets a little tricky when she ends up going on a few dates with his brother and his brother has no idea what's going on. This is a really fun book!

Make sure you grab this whole set, you'll love every page just like I did!
