My review: I really enjoyed this book! I liked everything about it, it's characters, plot, and I also liked that it was a novella, so it's a quick easy read.
I liked Sophia, she was an amazing character, a lady lawyer in a time and place that being one was frowned upon by almost everyone. I liked that she was ready to move on and not be the "spinster" anymore, so she took matters into her own hands by mail ordering a groom. Only....the company she tried to get a groom from was fraudulent.
Then there's Chadwick Hughes. He's engaged to be married, only he's ordered a mail order bride from the same company as Sophia and his intended is not even real. He doesn't realize that until she doesn't show up and he can't get in contact with her anymore. He asks Sophia to look into what has happened as his lawyer.
But things get interesting when Sophia decides that since it's Leap Year, and since she has really enjoyed getting to know Chadwick, maybe just maybe she can court him and have something good finally work out in her life.
Such a great book, I really enjoyed the ending. And since this one's a Timeless Romance, you can be sure that it's a clean, great story that you won't want to put down! Make sure you pick up a copy of this one!
