Blog Tour - Aspen Everlasting

About the book: Aspen Foster thinks she’s just a normal sixteen-year-old, but when her car’s caught in a flash flood, Aspen and her sister discover the superhuman strength they never knew they had.

Soon Aspen learns she’s not normal at all. She’s an Evermortal fairy, with powers beyond her wildest dreams. But the more Aspen finds out about her family’s past, the more dangerous her future becomes.

This riveting fantasy is full of action, adventure, and romance. Suspenseful and exhilarating!

My review: This is such a fun book! I was not prepared for the wild ride it would take me on from the very beginning.

I loved the way you first meet Aspen, she's a normal 16 year-old, she has a crush on the boy next door and she has some great girlfriends. The first scene where they're playing "Sardines" really grabbed my attention. Then, Aspen ends up having to leave and gets caught in a swollen river in her car with her sister Willow and some friends. That's when the craziness starts happening. Willow is able to break the window on the car with only her bare hands and no injuries. Then both she and Aspen are able to throw their two friends way farther then they ever would have imagined. And finally, Aspen's glass cuts heal while she and Willow are watching. Freaky! And that's when she learns that she and both of siblings are Evermortals. That's a huge secret that her parents have kept for a very long time and it's really only the tip of the iceberg of the secrets that they've kept.

I loved all of the action and adventure in this one. There is something new and exciting with every turn of the page. I loved that there's a touch of romance in this one too. And I really loved the kind of character that Aspen is, she's a really take charge girl and she gets herself into tricky situations, and most of the time she needs help to get back out of them.

The other characters in this book are great too! I loved that it was really hard to tell just who was with Aspen and her family and who was fighting against them. It made it hard to tell just who they could trust.

This is a cute book that I had fun reading! Hoping this isn't the last of Aspen's adventures with her family!

I was sent an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
