Friday Favorite - Maskcara Makeup

I found something new last month that I'm really loving and I wanted to tell you about it!

It's Maskcara Makeup. I need to tell you that I'm not getting paid anything at all, nor was I given any free makeup to talk about it. It's something that I'd seen on Instagram and was able to try it and wound up loving it!

I like the way it feels on my face. I really like that it eliminates a need for a moisturizer under it. I haven't heard anyone say that, but for me, I feel that I haven't needed it since I started wearing it, my face feels so amazing and soft. I like that they match your face color for the makeup. I've had makeovers from other places that match your makeup to your clothes and that makes no sense to me, because you're not always going to be wearing the same thing.

And I really liked the contouring that you do with the makeup. You use a bit darker, but complimentary color around the edges of your face, your nose and your cheeks and it creates a…

Blog Tour - The Search

About the book: Young private investigator Jayden Spaulding has cracked his share of tough cases, but nothing like this one.

When stunning professional basketball player Nadia Fairchild walks through his door, her story seems simple enough: two days ago, her mother disappeared along with a member of the women’s college basketball team she coached. Jayden and Nadia delve into a baffling maze of motive and opportunity with a lengthy list of possible suspects.

As they work together amid their growing attraction to one another, the unlikely duo seems no closer to discovering the truth. Then the threats begin. Soon, the pair begins to suspect that this case is much more complicated than a simple disappearance—they have unwittingly stumbled on a conspiracy of corruption, greed, and murder far more deadly than they ever imagined.

Others are also searching for the missing women, and they will eliminate anyone who stands in their way . . .

My review: This book was so good! I loved everything about…

Rachelle J Christensen is one of my very favorite authors! She's got a new book out and I know you're going to love it! I haven't had time to read any of this series yet, but they look so fun!

One Last Summer

About the book: Jenna Brennan doesn’t believe in love. She doesn’t believe in marriage, and she’s learned to only count on herself. At her Uncle Walter’s insistence, and a little emotional blackmail, she returns to Misty Harbor Cottages to help him for one last summer in a place that's really the only home she’s ever known.

Cole Zamora has worked at Misty Harbor for more than half of his twenty-three years, and imagined someday owning the place. He met Jenna when they were ten-years-old, and his young heart fell hard for her, relishing every summer she came back. That is, until two years ago, when she broke his heart and never returned.

Uncle Walter proposes a challenge between the two, with the winner becoming the new owner of Misty Harbor. Now, there’s a real chance Cole could lose his heart and his home. Jenna isn’t sure which worries her more—a summer of rivalry or romance?

My review: I enjoyed reading this book. It's a quick to read romance that I read in one afternoon. It&#…

About the book: Time is not a river. It is a vast cosmic sea, where each life exists as rippling circles on its surface. Usually, the eternal ocean oscillates in harmony, all lives breathing up and down as one. But something has broken this equilibrium, turning the cosmic ocean into turbulent waters . . .

In 1828, Daniel Ashton, Lord Whitmoor, faces a problem of epic proportion—an earthquake has caused the time portal in Duir Cottage to stop functioning, disrupting the cosmic ocean and threatening Time itself. He needs a computer to crunch numbers and provide a solution. But with the time portal on the fritz, a computer is two hundred years in the future. So Daniel sets out to find the next best thing—an anonymous mathematical genius of legendary renown.

Fossi Lovejoy knows she is too odd, too intelligent, too old and too poor to ever marry. So she busies herself in her father’s ministry and her mathematical equations, choosing to focus on what she has, not what she lacks. But then Lo…

Favorite Friday - Fitness Blender

I am probably really weird, but one of my favorite things I do every day is a workout. I don't like to do the same things over and over again and I'm not one to spend money on a gym membership. One of the things I've found that I really like is Fitness Blender.

I like that you have a few options on their workouts. You can find workouts on their website. Or you can use their YouTube channel, this is what I do almost all of the time. I like that I can use it on Apple TV, or Roku, or even when I'm on vacation with my phone.

I like a lot of things about Fitness Blender's workouts. They are usually hard, not in the you can't do them way, but in the challenge yourself and grow and develop way. I like that they have tons of different things you can try. They have workouts for dumbells, balance balls, kettlebells, all different activity levels, they do cardio, hiit, barre, kickboxing, pilates, yoga. You can really find anything you want to do on their site or channel - …

About the book: For centuries, mystical creatures of all description were gathered to a hidden refuge called Fablehaven to prevent their extinction. The sanctuary survives today as one of the last strongholds of true magic in a cynical world. Enchanting? Absolutely. Exciting? You bet. Safe? Well, actually, quite the opposite. . .

Kendra and her brother Seth have no idea their grandfather is the current caretaker of Fablehaven. Inside the gated woods, ancient laws give relative order among greedy trolls, mischievous satyrs, plotting witches, spiteful imps, and jealous fairies. However, when the rules get broken, an arcane evil is unleashed, forcing Kendra and Seth to face the greatest challenge of their lives. To save her family, Fablehaven, and perhaps the world, Kendra must find the courage to do what she fears most.

The Fablehaven series has been awarded the Mormon Letters Award, the Nevada Young Readers’ Award and Tennessee’s Volunteer State Book Award, was a finalist for Lambda Lite…

Blog Tour - Havencross

About the book: When a shocking scandal involving her father spreads through London society, Elaine Cardinham and her parents are forced to retreat to their country home in Cornwall for refuge. But Havencross is no sanctuary for Elaine. She is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of her brother—and the heartbreak she left in her wake all those years ago. It has been five long years since Gareth Kemp last saw Elaine—when she rejected his marriage proposal. Her reappearance convinces him of one thing: he has never stopped loving her. To put his feelings for her aside, he focuses his attention on the dangerous smuggling plaguing the Cornish coast. As Elaine attempts to run from her past, she ventures ever closer to a dangerous truth—and Gareth may be the only one who can save her from a deadly finish.

My review: This is really a fun book. I thought that the story was great, it's got a fun romance element, mystery, danger, suspense, pretty much everything you want and more than your…
