Oh Come On - Be Faithful

About the book: Former Army security expert Matt Degan is in desperate need of a Christmas miracle. His ex-wife cleaned out his savings account and abandoned their son. Sadly, he has no presents stashed.

When he finds a job as a bodyguard for Mikayla Lambert, a billionaire heiress who has been tormented by a stalker for four years, he’s caught up in family drama that threatens this beautiful woman he’s becoming enamored with and might also endanger his son. Can Matt protect everyone and save Christmas for his son, or will the stalker succeed at kidnapping Mikayla and destroying any chance at love between them?

My review: The other night my little one decided that he wasn't wanting to sleep and that I needed to hold him and rock him instead. This is the very reason that I keep my Kindle Paperwhite in his room. I quickly found this book that needed to be read and settled in to read it. I love that it was a cute, clean, quick easy read. It's filled with romance and action. I didn't really want to put it down, even though it would have been nice to get some sleep.

I really liked Matt. He's a true gentleman. He's been burned before but he's simply looking for a job to support himself and his awesome son, Brock. Brock is probably my favorite character in this whole book. He's always happy and he likes everyone. He's the kind of person that everyone likes to be around.

Matt's new job is providing security for Mikayla and he's also supposed to be her live in boyfriend, making things a little bit more complicated for both of them. She's amazing too. I love the way that even though she has her own life to deal with, she has stepped in to care for her sister Sarah and her son in their time of need. But Mikayla has a stalker who seems to be following her around, which is why she needs Matt. But in 4 years no one has been able to catch her stalker, will Matt have better luck than everyone else.

I loved that the stalker was not someone who was even on my radar. The way that the person was revealed in the end was really well-written and quite possibly my favorite part.

If you're looking for something cute to read, don't hesitate to pick up this book, you won't be sad!

I was sent an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
