Follow their adventures as they learn all about missionary work and what they can do now to become great missionaries when they grow up.

My review: This book is perfect for all those future missionaries out there! I love how when Lacey and Julian's brother gets home, they decide to get prepared for their own missions and they go out of their way to look for ideas and people to tell them the best way to prepare. They learn to read their scriptures, serve and take care of their own clothes. I love that th…

Blog Tour - Real Food, Real Kitchens: New York Cookbook

About the book: After an award-winning career in television and magazines, Craig Chapman is pursuing his passion: telling the real stories of real food and the people and cultures that bring a dish to life. Based on his popular Create TV series, these recipes take you behind the scenes and into the kitchens of chefs who are using food to change the world.
My review: I've never seen Craig Chapman's Real Food, Real Kitchens show, but after checking out this cookbook, I want to! Craig Chapman divided the city of New York up into sections. Then he went out into each section and took pictures, and found people that had a recipe and a story to tell. For me, this cookbook is not really about the recipes, although they are awesome too. The real thing that I loved about this cookbook is the stories about the people who make the recipes and where the recipes come from. That makes this book really human. I like that!
I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
