My review: I read this book because it was one of last year's Whitney Awards nominees. It was really great! I love Emma, her character is amazing. I love how she is so young, but she knows what she wants, and goes after it, to the point that she moves clear across the country and gets an apartment on her own to be able to star in Coyote Hills. I also love that she's down to earth, she knows that she is going to need something beyond her acting career to get her through the rest of her life, so she takes online college classes during her time off.
I like Jake too, he's trying his best to take care of his family responsibilities and earn a living as well. Something not a lot of guys his age have to think about. I like that during his parts of the story he felt like a real person, not like some Hollywood star that is all about themselves.
This is a cute, clean romance that you won't want to put down until you've read every last word!
