Blog Tour - The Kiss that Launched a 1000 Gifs

Kiss that Launches 1000 gifts by sheralyn pratt The Kiss That Launched 1,000 Gifs by Sheralyn Pratt Each weekday from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Grace and Ashton cohost Battle of the Sexes, a radio program arguing the he-said/she-said issues of the day. Their fiery debates often have listeners wondering if there’s more to their relationship than just talk, even though Grace has been dating Phillip, Mr. Tall, Dark, and Perfect, since long before she ever met Ashton Miller. Yet when news comes that Battle of the Sexes is on the bubble for cancellation, Grace and Ashton need to step up their efforts to engage their audience to keep the show alive. When a charity organization approaches them and proposes that the two of them kiss for a fund raiser, Grace and Ash agree to kiss for a good cause. A kiss is just a kiss, right?

My review: I'm so glad to see another great new romance by Sheralyn Pratt. I've loved her Rhea Jensen series...I'm impatiently awaiting the next installment. But this book made up for that in a big way! I ended up reading it late into the night or early in the morning, I can't remember which to finish it!

I loved the plot, it kept me interested and wanting to know just what would happen next. I loved the sweet love story, it didn't seem like it was ever going to happen for Ash and Grace, but the way that it came about was so cute. I really loved the whole hype as Ash and Grace gear up for their kiss, it's really almost suspenseful the way that it was written, so fun!

I loved the setting too, it's set in Salt Lake City, a place I'm fairly familiar with. I could pretty much "see" the city in the book. I loved the whole idea of the kiss for charity, a kiss that tons of people would want to see happen because of the radio show Battle of the Sexes. And the radio show, it was all kinds of clever, from the witty way the two co-hosts dealt with each other to the live stream of the video as they were on air.

My very favorite thing that Sheralyn Pratt does is characters. She has a way with writing them, making them seem real and as though they're someone you know. I loved Grace and Ashton, they were awesome characters, it was so fun to see their world through their eyes. I really loved the relationship that Ash has with his niece, the way that he is so protective of her is really cute!

I loved that it was clean, it's definitely adult themed because of some of the relationship talk that goes on, but it's a book that you can enjoy without worrying about finding any steamy sex scenes. I highly recommend this one, you won't regret getting it!

I was sent an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Author Sheralyn Pratt Sheralyn's first job was as a karate instructor, which taught her that practice does not make perfect; practice makes habit--good or bad. Martial arts also taught Sheralyn that a master is simply a person who can effortlessly do all the actions a beginner finds difficult or maybe even impossible. Sheralyn has worked in many fields throughout her life, but her 12 years as a karate instructor have shaped how she does everything, including writing and mentoring. She likes to keep things light and fun, but she's also aware that life is journey and that if you're going to buy a book, your life should better for it. So, fiction or nonfiction, know that each of Sheralyn's books are designed to take you to a new place. Maybe that book is designed to help you escape for a few hours, or maybe it's a book designed to teach you a new skill. Either way, Sheralyn hopes it's unforgettable...in a good way. ;)
