My review: I LOVE anthologies like this, you get a bunch of cute, sweet, romantic stories all in one place. This one was so cute. I loved that some of the authors in the book were familiar to me, but some of them I had never heard of before. I love finding new authors!
I loved each of the stories, it's hard to just pick one or two to talk about, but I will. Candice Toone's Closing Time was super cute, I loved Will in this book. He's doing his job at the restaurant he works at when he notices a beautiful girl stood up by her blind date. What's a gentleman to do but pretend to be the date, just late. So cute and sweet, but eventually his lie catches up to him and the date is just plain mad. Will she be able to forgive him when she finds out the reason he lied to her?
Another one that really stuck out was The Best of Me by Paige Timothy. Becky is a cancer survivor who has blogged about her ordeal, she is asked to give a speech at a cancer symposium. That's where she runs into Josh, the man that she was in love with once upon a time. He has no idea that she had cancer, or that she's at the conference to talk about what she had gone through. Will Josh and Becky be able to pick up where they left off?
This book is the perfect summer read. Each of the stories are cute and light-hearted. So grab your copy and hang out somewhere fun to read it!
