Blog Tour - The Magical Slow Cooker

About the book: Do you believe in magic? Well, your slow cooker does. From breakfast to dessert, these recipes are perfect for busy moms who want something that’s quick and wholesome—not to mention delicious! With prepare-ahead tips and time-saving tricks from this little book—and the swish and flick of a wand—you can experience the magic of your slow cooker every night of the week!
My review: I love using my slow cooker to make meals. It makes my day so much easier, so I'm always happy when I find not only a great cookbook to help me make my life easier, but a great blog as well. I hadn't heard of Sarah Olson's blog www.themagicalslowcooker.com before I got this cookbook, but you can bet I've checked it out and subscribed to get emails when she posts to it now. This book is full of great recipes for great food, it has beautiful pictures and great tips. I love that Sarah Olson was able to put her personality into the book by adding blurbs about her life in Oregon and her family before each recipe. I've made several recipes from this one and I've loved them. One of her recipes is for Tator Tot Casserole in the slow cooker. I have to admit that I'd never thought of making it that way before, although I've made other casseroles in my slow cooker. What a way to make a busy afternoon easier and to get through that crazy time of day a little bit less crazy. Check out this great cookbook, you won't be sorry!

I was sent a copy of this cookbook in exchange for an honest review.

Performing with intimate acoustic backing and often featuring piano and cello, Nathan's desire with this album is to help people reach higher, to feel deeper spiritual connection, and to find peace through songs that life the soul.

About the bookCompassionate Soldier illuminates fascinating yet largely unknown stories of men and women whose humanity led them to perform courageous acts of mercy and compassion amid the chaos and carnage of war.
