Undercover Engagement

About the book: Alyssa Eastman is engaged to the man of her dreams. Jason is smart, attractive, and he makes her laugh. When the couple is attacked by a group of men who call Jason by an assumed name, shoot holes in his beautiful car, and try to run them off the road, Alyssa learns her perfect fiancé is also the perfect spy. With his cover blown, the only way to bring down an international terrorist group is for Alyssa to steal the information. She agrees to help, putting her life on the line; but, putting her heart on the line and marrying a man who lied to her about his identity (albeit for national security – but still!!) is a much harder decision.

My review: I really enjoyed this book. It was kind of fun how Alyssa thought she had found the man of her dreams, and was taking him home to meet her family. That's when all the craziness started. They were attacked by some crazy people, going to meet her family was out of the question, and she discovered that Jason is really an undercover agent who has safe houses and people to help him all over. Not to mention his car is really cool, almost invincible. Alyssa is rethinking her decision to marry him, just because of the fact that he had to lie to her about who he is and what he does for a living. I loved the pace of this book, it's really fast paced and fun. I love the way that they end up in dangerous settings in different locations. One of my favorite parts was Alyssa's time at the Las Vegas Temple, an island of peace in a city of chaos. This book is a quick, easy, romantic read that you won't want to put down until you've read the very last word.

I bought this book from Amazon.
