Blog Tour - Sense and Sensibility

About the book: Which is the key to love—passion or sensibility? Sensible Elly and romantic Maren are sisters trying to hold their family together in the wake of their father’s bankruptcy and death. As each unexpectedly encounters the madness and misadventures of love, will they ever find the true happiness they dream of? This modern reimagination of the Jane Austen favorite will capture your heart all over again.

My Review: Elly is just trying to hold life together for her family after her dad died and they lost their family's business. One day, while filling their order from the Bishop's storehouse, Elly meets the handsome Ethan Ferrero. She knows that there is no way he could ever like her, she was the one after all that spilled perfume all over the inside of his sister's car when his sister and Elly's ex-fiance decided to get married. But he does give her a lead on a job, even though it's at her ex-fiance's business. Life has a way of working out in funny ways, who would have ever thought that Elly would be working for Jake, her ex-fiance, and Candy, his wife at the company that Jake started to steal her dad's technology. Elly's concerned for her sister Maren who hasn't been able to function or even really get out of bed since their dad died. Just how is Elly going to hold everything together, take care of her sisters Maren and Grace, and hold down a job?

I really enjoyed this book, I loved Elly and also Maren. It's kind of fun that you get to see the story through both of their eyes. I loved the feel of this book, Jane Austen meets Rom-Com is how it felt to me. The story line is fun and there are plenty of places that made me laugh out loud. I thought that the way the story ended was particularly sweet. If you love clean romantic comedies you won't want to miss this one!
