Tying the Knot

About the book: When Athena Di Jasper accepts dashing bookstoreowner Grey Ronning’s proposal for marriage and they sit down to work out the details of the wedding, they discover it’s a daunting task. Most of Athena’s family lives in Greece, so Athena and Grey decide there’s only one thing they can do: take a cruise and have a destination wedding in Athens—and with their trademark show of support, the women of the Newport Ladies Book Club are going international with them.

The cruise turns out to be life changing for more than Athena and Grey. Aboard the ship, each bookclub lady unfolds a new chapter of her life. In this final installment of the beloved Newport Ladies Book Club series, discover what’s in store for Athena, Ruby, Ilana, Olivia, Victoria, Daisy, Paige, and Shannon. From mending marriages to overcoming addictions, the women of this remarkable group meet their triumphs and tragedies as they always have: together.

My Review: Athena is finally getting married! Only her mom won't be around to see it, and her dad would never remember it. Her only family lives in Greece or there's her friends in the Newport Ladies Book Club that have become just like family to her. When Ruby suggests getting married in Greece and having the entire book club there as part of a cruise, Athena thinks it's an amazing idea. Is it possible that everyone would be able to go. Turns out that with a little planning, and a little extra money everyone is able to go. But Athena and Grey aren't the only ones with life-changes happening on this trip, almost everyone has something big coming up. This book is full of fun and surprises for all of the characters of this beloved series.

I loved every minute of reading this book! It makes me sad to know that this is the end of the series, sometimes I want to climb into a book or series and live there with the characters that I've come to know so well and love, this is one of those series. I have loved reading about each of these amazing women, Athena, Ruby, Ilana, Olivia, Tori, Daisy, Paige and Shannon, they are all such individuals and I love all of them. I thought that this finale was really well written, I loved journeying with the characters on the cruise and eventually to Greece. I loved the little surprises that were hidden for each of the characters. I loved that I was able to learn what would be ahead for each of the characters. This is a really well written conclusion to one of my very favorite series.

I was sent an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
