Divinity of Women

About the book: Scriptural history is replete with reports of strong women from all walks of life: from the humble handmaiden to the mighty priestess, each demonstrates the eternal truth of our divine worth. A thought-provoking celebration of the potential of womanhood, Divinity of Women explores scriptural accounts of women from each of the standard works—both those who allowed themselves to be refined by the challenges of life and those who chose not to turn to Christ in their moments of need. By linking scriptural women's experiences with modern applications, this powerful volume will inspire women to boldly confront life's challenges on the path to divinity.

My Review: I love reading books that teach you about women of the scriptures. It doesn't seem that there are all that many and a lot of times you don't even know their names, but there is a lot to learn form the amazing women talked about in the scriptures. This book was really great, I love that it talks about women in both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I really loved that I was able to see, through reading about women in the scriptures, divinity within myself. This book is a must read book for women everywhere.
