About the book: More than a book. It's an online experience!
Follow the patriotic journey of a little red balloon as it makes its way from the West Coast to the East Coast of the United States.
Through delightful illustrations and the words of "America the Beautiful," one of America's most beloved anthems, children will discover the beauty and diversity of their country. At DiscoverAmericaBook.com they can launch their own balloon while learning fun facts about all fifty states.
My Review: This is such a beautiful book, I loved the illustrations and I thought the map in the back showing where all of the pictures came from was really fun. I took a little time to check out the website that goes along with the book and it was pretty neat. You can send a red balloon to whoever you want and then track where it goes as they pass it along. You can also learn fun facts about each state and print coloring pages from each. It's way fun!
I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
