Victoria's Promise

Tori Winters loves her job as the assistant director of reality show Vows. She gets to deal with all kinds of aspects of taking care of both the bachelor and the bachelorettes in a beautiful mansion. But the bachelor on this edition of Vows is a different story, Chris Caine is the perfect southern gentleman and pretty soon even Tori has fallen for him, even though she signed a contract that is supposed to keep her away from that type of thing. It would be bad enough for Tori to be harboring such feelings, but when becomes very obvious that Chris also has feelings for Tori, she knows that she is going to have to do something drastic. She tries to shut herself away from the situation and lock Chris out of her heart, but every time one of the girls gets special attention from him it breaks her heart. Tori must decide whether she will follow her heart or her contract.

I really love this series! Tori was an amazing character, she felt so real, and I could feel her pain as she watched Chris with the other girls. I loved seeing this plot line through Tori's perspective, she had quite a different perspective from Ruby and Shannon. I love how in this series you get to meet some amazing women and then see the situation through several sets of eyes. It doesn't take long to realize just how inter-connected everyone is and that we really need to be careful just how we think about others and not judge them, because we really don't know their situation and what motivates their actions. Such a good reminder for me! Can't wait to read the last two books in this series, I know I'll be sad when it's over.

I was sent an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
