My Review: Llona believed that Lucent Academy would be the one place that she and other Auran girls like her would be protected from Vykens trying to suck out their light. Little did they know that the president, Cyrus, had been drugging the girls and stealing their light for years without them knowing. When Llona and Christian discovered this, they were able to overthrow Cyrus, effectively stopping the stealing of life, but Llona's aunt May was taken by Cyrus and Christian was killed. Now Llona knows that she must find her aunt and the other missing girls before it's too late. It becomes almost an obsession for her, to the point that she can't see that she might be walking into a trap. Llona must also face the fact the Christian isn't dead, but has been turned into a Vyken, much as Llona was, she's sure that he's as trustworthy as she is, but is she accurate? Will she be able to save the missing girls before it's too late for them?
This is the third book in Rachel McClellan's Fractured Light series, so make sure you read the other two first, or you're going to be really lost. This book is written for young adults, I love that it's completely clean. This book takes you on a wild ride! The characters are amazing, the plot action packed and fast paced, you won't want to stop reading until you determine just what happens to Llona and her friends. This is a great conclusion to this awesome series, don't miss it.
