Married to one of the most lucrative and sought after

Controlled by his obsessive pursuit of perfection, Doctor Matthew Hamilton will stop nothing short of breaking his young, spirited bride into a subservient trophy wife. And how much will she have to lose before she gets there?
~Sometimes money costs too much ~
My Review: Megan is getting tired of being her husband, Matt's, punching bag. When he comes home late and beats her yet again she knows that it's time to leave. The next morning she packs up herself and her son Jacob leaving their lovely penthouse empty for Matt to come home to. She ends up in a small podunk place,Mountanside, where there's a house to rent, figuring that it will be the last place Matt will look for her, and tries to build a normal life for herself and her son. What she doesn't count on is falling in love with the place, and the people. But will Matt ever give up looking for her after vowing she'll pay for leaving him?
This was an awesome book. There are a few violent scenes, and I really like the way they were written by the author, as I was reading them it was obvious that they were going somewhere and that there was hope for Megan. I thought that the characters were really well written and it even seemed as though Mountainside with it's small town, homey feel was a character as well. I really liked Megan, she is a strong willed woman who is able to get herself and her young son out of a bad situation and into a better one, she's also willing to leave her pampered life behind and learn to do things she'd never dreamed of doing before. This is a great book that you won't regret picking up to read!
I was sent an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
