Blog Tour - The Guardian - To Run with the Swift

Book Summary: After Danni McAllister and her family escaped from El Cobra and his kidnapping ring, they thought life would basically return to normal. Little did they know that their peril had just begun.

As secrets from the past begin to unfold, it becomes evident that the motives driving the attacks on the McAllister family go much deeper than money—and they're not going to stop anytime soon. Now, as Danni faces evils even more sinister than before, she has to wonder if even the Guardian will be equal to the dangers ahead.

The whole family will love this page-turning conclusion to the story of Le Gardien, the enchanted pouch that guides, protects, and teaches those who have it in their keeping.

My Review: It's only been a week since Danni, her family and her best friend Rick were kidnapped by a group of kidnappers led by El Cobra. It's finally time for Rick to be released from the hospital and head back to their homes where their lives will hopefully return to normal as quickly as possible. Unfortunately things are not going to be quite as easy as Danni and her family think they are. For one thing, the FBI has decided that Danni needs to be the one to take the blame for Rick accidentally being shot. For another thing, they are returning home to a very small town where everyone knows everyone and every thing about every one else in town. And life is just going to keep getting harder for Danni and her family. They do know that they are being targeted by someone or a group of someones, what they don't know is just who is targeting them and why. It's up to Danni, Rick, Cody and Le Gardien to figure out just who is after them and save both of their families before it's too late.

This is an amazing book! I loved every minute that I spent reading it. I love the characters Danni, Rick, Cody and Danni's family are all amazingly well written. I also loved how Le Gardien becomes almost a character in itself. The plot is crazy good! You won't know what is coming next and you won't want to put the book down, because there is crazyness with the turn of every page. I liked the ending, I was amazed at the way it ended. You don't want to miss this awesome series by Elder Lund, just make sure that you read The Guardian first or you will be lost for most of the book!
