My Review: The tragedy in Newton, Connecticut took a lot of adults by surprise and caused us anger and outrage, I can only imagine the way that children felt when they saw or heard the news. This cute little book is designed to help children understand that it's okay to be worried or afraid, it's okay to talk with a trusted adult about what happened and to ask for reassurance that something like that won't happen to them. I have many friends who have mentioned that their kids have had a hard time with this tragedy, and I can see how this book would help them to be able to help their kids to understand that it's okay to be afraid. I love the illustrations in this book too! They are so cute and appropriate to the words on the page. Altogether an awesome book for kids and adults to read together!
