Running Home

Cassidy is on her first humanitarian mission after learning about her father and Jesse's missions. She loves the children, most of all she loves working with Jesse, Sham and her best friend, Tasha. She knows that she never wants to see anything bad happen to any of the sweet children that she's met. Her enjoyment of the humanitarian mission quickly changes to horror as "Muscle Man" and some other hired thugs show up where she's working, blow up a truck, and maybe Jesse, Sham and Tasha, and start cleaning the whole village out. They are planning to sell the villagers as slaves and prostitutes. When Muscle Man spots Cassidy she knows that she must hide and fast, but what will happen to all of the other innocent villagers and what has happened to her friends?

I really enjoyed this novella, I was kind of sad that it was so short! I think that it could have easily been a full length novel like some of her other ones, in some places the story line felt really rushed. That being said, I did enjoy the adventure, the plot, and I really like finding out what happens to characters that I already know and love. You really want to read these in order, because they won't make a lot of sense, and with them being so short, you won't know the characters. If you like Cami Checketts' books, you'll love this one too!

I was sent an e-copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
