The Chimney Sweep Charm

Baylee is excited for her dream job of being in a Handbell ringers choir at Dicken's village for the Christmas season. This is an amazing opportunity for her to do what she loves most, ring handbells and sing. It's also an amazing opportunity for her in a way that she doesn't even realize at first. The Village is protected by Chimney Sweeps, just like Dick van Dyke in Mary Poppins and these are not only chimney sweeps, they are retired Navy Seals and they are hot! Baylee is soon swept off her feet (pun intended) by Justice, an amazing chimney sweep that falls quickly for her as well. Soon she's enjoying his company for dinner on all of their shared breaks, but what she doesn't realize is that he's an FBI agent, all the chimney sweeps are, out on the lookout for the Jack the Ripper copy cat that seems to have his sights set on the Dicken's Village and maybe the girls in the Handbell choir.

This book was short and sweet. I loved the story set in Dicken's Village, I loved the old-time feel of Baylee and her life. I loved Justice. I really like that it was a clean story. There were a couple of mild swear words, nothing to major, but they didn't seem to fit in with the old time feel of the story. I enjoy Marcia's writing, I think she's amazing in that she has so many romantic stories that she's able to tell.
