A Better Reason to Fall in Love

Tabby, Emmy, Jocelyn, and Naomi don't know that they are known as the "Foxy Four" at their office. Emmy has a boyfriend, Luke, a soldier currently deployed and getting close to being ably to come home to Emmy. Jocelyn is crushing on Armando, a cliff diver at their favorite restaurant, The Acapulco. Naomi hasn't met a guy that's worth crushing on yet. Tabby is totally crushing on the office hottie, Jagger Brodie, but doesn't feel that there's any way he would ever even look at her. The day Armando finally asks Jocelyn out, the girls see Jagger and some other office execs at The Acapulco and they realize that Jagger and Armando know each other. Not only that, English professor Anthony Lowery, who Emmy's boyfriend Luke knows, is a poet that Naomi happens to think is handsome. And the first man to pretty much make her crazy. I loved how this story kind of revolved around The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon game. What girl didn't see Footloose and fall in love with his crazy character?! This book sucked me in, and I read it in not very long. The sweet love story of these four girls was really captivating to me. I liked how Tabby learned through the course of the book that she was worth being loved, and how she was able to give love and return, not only because the guy she loved is gorgeous, but because he is a decent, loving human being. This was probably my favorite Marcia Lynn McClure book so far!
