This is the third book and final :( book in the Hourglass Door Series. This is one of those books that you need to read in order or you won't have any idea what's going on. Abby finds herself again on the bank this time with Orlando, who 500 years later will be Leo, kind of confusing I know! But she's misunderestimated Zo and he's waiting for them. He wants to control Abby and also the river and he tries to use his music for that purpose. But Abby is stronger than Zo thinks and pretty soon Dante finds her, even though he's blind and Abby can no longer remember him because Zo has taken all of her memories Abby knows that there is something comforting about him and Dante promises to fix Abby's memories, then he sends her to Orlando, his brother, for protection. Abby has a locket that she can no longer remember where it came from and Zo finds her and tricks her into giving it to him, little does Abby know she will later deeply regret allowing him to trick her. I have really enjoyed reading this series and learning about the bank and the river along with Abby and Dante. I'm really sad that this is the final book in the series, I can only hope that Lisa Mangum will continue writing her stories!
